By using a common material, glass, in this floating installation centrally located in the large pond at the Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden, the artist Joe Hobbs seeks to engage and connect with the viewer by creating a shared “moment”.

Joe first exhibited in SKW 2005 with his teacher Jimmy Wray & the Horace O’Bryant Middle School Art Department. He is a well-known glass artist and holds a BFA from the University of West Florida.
