James Racchi studied sculpture and traditional techniques
in Ohio and Italy. His work ranges from the figural, hinting
at his classical education in stone carving in Florence, to
the playful and abstract. He writes, “My new interest
in digital photography and computer graphics has inspired
and informed my work, both directly and indirectly.”
Racchi founded Sculpture Key West, originally “Art in
the Park,” in 1995.
