With a background in engineering and a love of using art
to redeem lost spaces for local residents, Christopher Fennell
has been creating large-scale works from discarded objects
for more than 20 years. A dilapidated barn became a “barn
wave” and 160 recycled bicycles a tornado. His sculptural
work takes into consideration the site, the materials, the
community and his delightful sense of humor. He lives in Alabama.
