Key West artist Katie Truax has been studying welding since
1998 at the Florida Keys Community College. She is a self-employed
graphic artist. Her copper collages are “a creative
exploration of metals, shaped and welded into decorative
objects, suggesting an antique quality of spiritual or mystical
origin.”
