Karley Klopfenstein moved to Key West in 2002 from Richmond,
VA where she did her graduate work in sculpture at VCU.
Her love of textiles has taken many forms, including knitted
architecture and mountains of thread. She enjoys making
5-10 pieces a day (in her head) and occasionally getting
to see one of them to completion. Red Tree will be installed
on Feb 14, 2005 and be up for two weeks.
