Irene Stanton

Key West artist Irene Stanton writes, “My solid years of art studies were not academic, but self directed.” Her media ranges from watercolor and abstract oil painting to complex cut wood assemblages. Her wall mounted wood pieces have a haunting architectural quality and are assembled with a sensitivity to design and balance. He is an admirer of the wood structures of Louis Nevelson.
